Illness strikes bowman on judgement day

THE Lusaka Magistrate Court has heard how former Lusaka province Minister Bowman Lusambo could not make it to court to hear his Judgement in a matter he is charged with three counts of attempting to interfere with witnesses on grounds that he was unwell.

In this matter, resident magistrate, Trevor Kasanda had set judgement date on August 22, 2024 but Lusambo was reported sick.

When the matter came up yesterday for a rescheduled date to pass a sentence, the accused was said to be unwell again.
