LUSAKA chief resident magistrate Davies Chibwili has found Brebnar Changala, the civil rights and political activist with a case to answer and put him on defence in a matter he is charged with seditious practices.
Mr. Chibwili in rendering ruling on a case to answer yesterday said the state has proved their case beyond reasonable doubt to warrant the accused to be put on defence. He said having a seditious insinuation have the effect of causing disaffection against the Government as by law established.
Mr. Chibwili ruled that after examining the evidence on record and the submissions of both defence and the state, he found that the words allegedly uttered by the accused played in court accused the government of a hand in criminal activities.
