Respect UN report, HH advised

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema should avoid the temptation of dismissing the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) report on Zambia’s deteriorating record on human rights abuses and take responsibility and admit the concerns it has raised, Bob Sichinga has advised.

Mr Sichinga, a former minister of Commerce and Trade, has emphasised that President Hichilema should particularly be sensitive to human rights violations allegations, as he had personally experienced similar abuses under the Patriotic Front (PF) regime and actively condemned them.
