STRIKER Fashion Sakala says he is willing to sweat a little bit more for Zambia because the nation will need good results to heal from the trauma and torture caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Belgium-based KV Oostende hitman said in an interview that the players were equal to the challenge by Chipolopolo head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic that the team will have to bounce back strong and give passionate Zambian fans the best results.
Sakala said in as much as it was a difficult moment for every player during this Covid-19 period, he was working hard to prepare for the next games which includes the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier fixtures.
“Yes, I put everything in the hands of God and looking forward for the games we have and I’m working hard every day here at home preparing for the next games. We are willing to sweat a little bit more for our country and I’m sure we are getting ready for the games.”
“God bless our country and honestly, Zambia will need good results to heal from the coronavirus,” Sakala said.
Sakala pleaded with Zambians to observe the precautionary measures in the fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
