GBM ticks off ‘political non-entity’ Lukuku

By SILUMESI MALUMO
JAMES Lukuku is a political non-entity who is being used by the UPND to dent people’s images and such politicians must not be taken seriously, Patriotic Front vice chairperson for mobilisation Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has said.
Mr Mwamba was reacting to claims by Republican Progressive Party leader Mr Lukuku that he and Kasama Central Member of Parliament Kelvin Sampa were risking peace in Northern Province just to appease President Edgar Lungu.
Mr Lukuku said Mr Mwamba and Mr Sampa were the “Banyamulenge” a group of ruthless people who want to cause confusion in the province by stopping the UPND to hold any meetings.
But Mr Mwamba said the opposition leader should know that he was not being used and such talk could land him in serious problems.
He said that Mr Lukuku cannot accuse innocent people to please his pay masters.
Mr Mwamba, a former UPND vice president for administration, said at no time did he attempt to stop meetings held by the UPND in the province.
