NEVERS Mumba have finally been served with contempt of court summons. Operation Save MMD executive faction member Chishala Chilufya earlier said that Dr Mumba and five senior New Hope MMD top leadership have disappeared from their homes after the court gave a leave to commence committal proceedings. This was after Mr Webby Chipili and 19 other Save MMD members were granted contempt proceedings against Dr Mumba for having defiled the court order.
Mr Chilufya accused Dr Mumba of having secretly attempted to change names of office bearers in MMD at the Registrar of Societies last week. He said efforts to deliver summons at the homes of senior New Home MMD officials, Ms Winnie Zaloumis and Ms Elizabeth Chitika, were not successful as only their maids showed up, claiming they did not know their whereabouts.
