Economic and Equity Party leader Chilufya Tayali has sued Lusaka businessman Chitambala Mwewa for defamation of character.
In his complaint filed in the Lusaka Magistrate Court Mr Tayali stated that Mr Mwewa’s Facebook post that insinuated that he committed incest with his niece and that prosecutor Nsama Nsama would not have been killed had he not taken his bogus corruption case against UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to court.
Mr Tayali contends that both posts were defamatory in their natural meaning.
He claims that the said words put his name into disrepute before members of the public.
