I will go round the country to campaign against him – Hon NakacindaChipata.

(Smart Eagles)

FORMER MINISTER of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection Hon Raphael Nakacinda has vowed to go round the country to campaign against leader of the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) Mr Hakainde Hichilema.

Hon Nakacinda revealed that the opposition leader is seeking public office to push the agenda of imperialists at the expense of Zambians. The Former Minister said this yesterday in Chipata, Eastern Province when he featured on Breeze FM’s “The Political Hour” evening radio show.“One of the reasons why I can tell you that am going to go across the country to campaign against my brother (Mr Hichilema) it’s because he is an agent of imperialists.

He is an agent of foreign interest. Personally, I was flown into South Africa to an Island of one of the mining empires to which there were negotiations to try and see how best HH can be made president,” narrates Hon Nakacinda.“The money was offered and put on the table for his campaign as well as money to pay off some of us identified key to be able to bring different stakeholders including MMD to make him the lead and win, that was in 2014.

There I realised that he is not pushing a national agenda, Zambian agenda. He is pushing an agenda of imperialists.”Hon Nakacinda stressed that it is better to have a leader who is not advancing the interests of foreigners.“So it’s up to you. Its better I have a Zambian who has Zambia at heart, he may have all the efforts and so on and some mistakes but the good thing is that he is not advancing the interests of foreigners,” he said.
