I WILL increase the council’s revenue base if voted into office in the August 12 general elections, says the PF candidate for Mporokoso Council chairperson, Nicky Nkole.
Mr Nkole said in an interview that his vision is to transform the revenue base of the local authority by venturing into medium and long term projects.
He said one of the medium term projects will be to ensure that the local authority ventures into cassava production in all wards, following its high demand on the Zambian market.
Mr Nkole also said the long term projects he will look at is to work with investors and venture into forestry as well as honey production.
Mr Nkole urged residents of Mporokoso to vote for the PF if they want to see tangible development in the district.
