RELEGATION-BOUND Napsa Stars have continued to get dimmer after giving up a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to Lumwana Radiants in a rescheduled fixture played yesterday at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.
Two second half goals from defender Christopher Munthali and super sub Dominic Chungwa gave Radiants the crucial win which redeemed their hopes of surviving relegation.

Napsa who were reduced to 10 following a red card on defender Amos Simwanza, had began the rescheduled fixture very promising and went ahead through a third minute goal from Danny Silavwe.
Silavwe beat Ngeleka with a long range shot after benefitting from Jimmy Mukeya’s assist.
Lumwana came close to getting the equaliser in the 20th minute but were unlucky as goal keeper Philip Banda denied the visitors.
Goal keeper Katembwa Ngeleka almost grabbed the equaliser with his sublime free kick which went slightly over the bar two minutes before the break.
Lumwana Radiants redeemed themselves in the second half after Napsa suffered a setback when injured Luka Banda was withdrawn for Bornwell.
Richard Zulu’s chance to get the equaliser for Radiants came in the 50th minute but Philip Banda produced another great save to deny the visitors.
Radiants finally got the equaliser in the 60th minute when Munthali slotted home from close range after benefitting from Napsa’s clumsy defence before Simwanza was given matching orders for his careless challenge on a Radiants player.
Radiants coach Bilton Musonda introduced Dominic Chungwa for Kabonko Samuel in the 73rd minute.
Chungwa just needed two minutes after he came in to score, heading in Ngeleka’s drop shot from Lumwana’s box.
The defeat denied Napsa the chance to escape the relegation zone where they sit on 16th position with 36 points as Radiants moved to 33 points while maintaining 17th position on the log.
Meanwhile in the early kick at the same venue, Friday Samu scored a late equaliser to rescue Green Buffaloes from losing to Lusaka Dynamos as the two sides settled for a 1-1 stalemate.
Collins Sikombe had given Dynamos a first half lead before Samu scored in the 87th minute for the two teams to share the points.
Despite the draw, Lusaka Dynamos moved to third on the log with 47 points while Buffaloes moved to seventh with 43 points
