NAWAKWI SLAMS NALUMANGO

IT is disappointing that former Deputy Speaker Mutale Nalumango has allegedly decided to side with the oppressors and abductors of the Hatembo siblings, FDD president Edith Nawakwi has said.
And Ms Nawakwi said abductors of the Hatembos should release them now that their goal of having an incident-free nomination day has been achieved.
Ms Nawakwi said in as much as the UPND and its leadership have managed to hold the Hatembos to stop them from appealing their wish, God will never grant them their wish of forming Government.
“It is the saddest year in the history of the country and Africa in general because we have never had an election where an individual and his surrogates can abduct citizens and hold them hostage just to be on the ballot,” Ms Nawakwi said.
Ms Nawakwi said God will not let UPND win the 2021 general elections because he does not reward evil with good. “What the UPND did to abduct Pheluna Hatembo and her brother Milton is evil and because of that God of Justice and equality will not allow them to go to State House,” Ms Nawakwi said.
Ms Nawakwi said UPND presidential running mate was an accomplice to the injustice against the Hatembos who have been held hostage for months now.
Ms Nawakwi also said Ms Nalumango being a woman and a mother should have been in the forefront of speaking and advocating for the release of Pheluna Hatembo who has left her children just to fulfill someone’s political interest of becoming President of Zambia.
“We expected my elder sister Nalumango to talk to her party member to release the Hatembos even using other people such as the NGOCC and others,” she said.
Ms Nawakwi said she would go flat out and ensure that abductors and evil people do not get To State House.
“Now that they managed to hold the Hatembos hostage and to file their nominations, I will now go flat out and ensure that Zambians do not make a mistake of voting for people who are ready to keep people hostage just to fulfill their selfish ambitions if forming government,” Ms Nawakwi said.
