NKANA’S quest to survive relegation continues today when the defending champions visit Khosa Stadium in Kafue for a tricky date against Young Green Eagles.

It is a make or break fixture for the Kitwe giants who needs nothing but victory to move away from the relegation zone after enjoying a three-game winning streak, humiliating Napsa Stars 4-1 before beating Prison Leopards and Red Arrows 2-1 respectively in the last two league matches.

Nkana visit Khosa Stadium nicknamed the “slaughter house” by many because of Young Green Eagles’ knack to overcome any visitor at their home ground.

Giants like Zesco United, Zanaco, Napsa Stars, Nkwazi and Green Eagles senior have all fallen at Khosa Stadium which has proven to be a difficult venue for visitors.

Nkana will fight for maximum points to join Kabwe Warriors, the only team to have beaten Young Green Eagles at their home this season. With the 4-0 defeat suffered when they visited Nkana Stadium on January 31 still haunting them, today’s game presents the hosts a chance to seek revenge to avoid dropping into the relegation Zone.

While, Young Eagles have Damiano Kola, Greenwell Witika and Kebby Chilupe to do the damage, Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi will look to Alex Ngonga, Diamond Chikwekwe and Fred Tshimenga to get the needed goals for Kalampa.

Meanwhile, at Independence Stadium in Solwezi, rejuvenated Lumwana Radiants who punished Napsa Stars 2-1 in their last league fixture will host Red Arrows.

It is yet another tough test for Lumwana Radiants coach Bilton Musonda who is leading a team destined to be demoted from the Super League as it sits second from bottom on the log with 33 points.

Tomorrow, Super League action continues with Kabwe Warriors hosting Prison Leopards in a Kabwe derby at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium.

The Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola will play host to a double header involving Forest Rangers who will host Indeni in an early kick off before the league decider involving Zesco United and relegation-bound Napsa Stars.

Zesco United who were the first to qualify for the CAF Champions League only need two points to be crowned champions.
