ALL developmental projects started by the Patriotic Front government will be completed before 2026 to give space for new ones, President Edgar Lungu has assured.
President Lungu said the PF government was taking note of the immediate developmental needs of all areas so that they could be incorporated at an appropriate time.
The President said when he paid a courtesy call on Chief Sokontwe in Milenge yesterday that all projects which were started under PF would be completed.
He said the PF had plans of embarking on new projects once the ones already under construction were completed.
President Lungu noted that different areas were still in need of good roads, schools and other developmental projects.
He asked electorates to give the PF government members of Parliament who were ready to work and serve the people diligently.
“Here is our candidate, Chanda Masheke, he performed very well as council chairperson within a short period of time and now he will serve you diligently in parliament,” he said
President Lungu expressed happiness that many stakeholders were happy with the maize buying price of K150 per 50 kilogram bag by the Food Reserve Agency.
And Chief Sokontwe assured President Lungu of maximum support in the upcoming August 12 elections.
He assured of a 100 percent vote from Milenge.
“Just wait for August 12 and you will see what we will do. There will be a 100% vote from Milenge,” he said.
Meanwhile, President Lungu earlier paid a courtesy call on Senior Chief Mununga, chief Kanyengo and Nshimba in Nchelenge before touring markets in the district.
