CHIMWEMWE PARLEY HOPEFUL PROMISES BETTER HEALTH SERVICES

By ROGERS KALERO

I WILL improve health service delivery in Kitwe’s Chimwemwe constituency by expediting the process of upgrading Kawama clinic into a mini hospital, Patriotic Front (PF) parliamentary candidate Allen Banda has said.

He said he would also facilitate the setting up of an urban clinic in Kamatipa ward.

Mr Banda said, once elected as Chimwemwe Member of Parliament, he would work hard to improve service delivery in Kawama and Kamatipa wards because the two areas have a big population

He said during the “Walk the Talk” tour of the constituency that it was sad that despite having a big number of voters, residents of Kawama ward and Kamatipa ward were sharing a clinic.

“Residents of Kawama and Kamatipa wards share a clinic and yet the two wards have the largest number of voters in Chimwemwe constituency. These people deserve better health service delivery.

“So once voted as MP for Chimwemwe, I promise to expedite the process of upgrading Kawama clinic into a mini hospital and also to set up an urban clinic in Kamatipa ward,” Mr Banda said.

He appealed to the electorate to vote for him, President Edgar Lungu, Mayor Mpasa Mwaya and all the PF councillors for infrastructure development and for improved health service delivery in Chimwemwe.
