KAKOMA KANGANJA BIDS FAREWELL
Out going inspector general of police Kakoma Kanganja has bed farewell to the Zambians following the appointment of a new inspector general- Remmy Kajoba.
Kanganja said in the official police media whatApp group that he had served the country for 36 years.
“Good evening everyone. Just as I said yesterday it is the prerogative of The President. And it has been done, he said.
“I wish to now officially bid farewell to you all. It has not been easy.”
Kakoma thanked journalists for their support during his tenure.
“Thanks for your support during my tenure of office. I have served the country diligently for 36 yrs of unbroken service. in executing my duties I would have knowingly or unknowingly injured a lot of people please forgive me,” said Kanganja.
“But duty demands this and if I am given another chance I will do the same to protect people.”
He said he would always remain available to help the in coming command complete the projects already in progress.
