TTRANSPARENCY International-Zambia Chapter President Reuben Lifuka said the media should continue playing its important role in the fight against corruption.
He also said access to inform should be actualised to enable the media work effectively.
And Chapter One Foundation, Executive Director, Linda Kasonde, said the people of Zambia have taken up their freedom and should never again allow it to be taken away from them.
She said citizens should be allowed the freedom to demonstrate and protest as these are fundamental human rights.
Ms Kasonde observed that there was too much power in the presidency and therefore the need to spread the power to all the three arms of Government.
Ms Kasonde advised that there will be need to bring back the bill of rights to the table to address the inefficiencies in law, to allow citizens sue the state when it neglects to provide services.
She said currently the citizens cannot go to court when the government fails to provide clean water which is a right.
