PASTER NABBED FOR FAKE EXAMS

Police in Kitwe have apprehended a Pentecostal Pastor who has been administering fake Grade Seven examinations at his community school.

This morning pupils at True Vine Community School almost rioted when word went round that the examinations they have been writing are not sanctioned by the Examination Council of Zambia – ECZ.

A ZNBC News crew which rushed to the school located in Kawama Compound found the pupils crying uncontrollably.

Kitwe District Education Board Secretary CHRISTOPHER NYUNGILA, who rushed to the scene, said the illegality which was happening at True Vine Community School will not be tolerated.

Mr. NYUNGILA expressed concern that pupils were duped by the school by being given fake examinations when the school has no examination center.

When asked why he was conducting fake examinations, Reverend MOSES TEMBO said he was using photocopied past examination papers from 2010 to 2018 as mock examinations.

Reverend TEMBO failed to produce documentation to prove that the school was an examination center.

Police have since apprehended him and is now being questioned at Kawama Police Post.
