Ministry of health minister Sylvia Masebo also announced at a Covid -19 briefing , that children above the age of 12 were now eligible to take the Covid 19 JAB.
Before the pronouncement, only those above the age of 18 were eligible for the jab.
Hon Masebo announced that the country has today recorded 3380 new Covid 19 cases in the last 24 hours out of 1341 tests conducting representing a 25 per cent positivity rate.
