Kambwili condemns PF wrangles

CONTINUED infighting in the PF is not good for the party and it will have serious consequences if the situation is not dealt with as soon as possible, Patriotic Front (PF)  presidential hopeful, Chishimba Kambwili, has said.

Mr Kambwili said the party more than ever needed to be united because there were people fomenting instability in a bid to make sure the party collapsed.

He said it was for this reason that both senior and junior members  should work in unison to ensure that the rebranding process was completed without any glitches.

“Now is not the time to engage in squabbles. Our focus should be to rebuild and rebrand the party just as our founding father would have wanted,” he said.

He urged members of the PF to tone down so that they could come up with an amicable solution to whatever problem they were going through.

Mr Kambwili said everyone in the party needed each other and there was need to work as a team and not as individuals.

“It is very unfortunate that we are having such squabbles because what we need at the moment is to ensure that we continue with the rebranding process for the party to have a chance of usurping power from the UPND,” he said.

Mr Kambwili appealed to senior members to help in uniting the party and that in politics you don’t choose who to work with.

He said it was his prayer that God could help individuals to be tolerant and encompassing of all for the betterment of the party.
