A LUSAKA couple murdered in unexplained circumstances by their 19-year -old son were yesterday put to rest at Kasisi burial site in Lusaka.
Nathaniel Mwakachela 53 and Alphonsina Lubwika Mwakachela 52 were allegedly murdered on Saturday by their first born son in Lusaka’s Salama Park area.
And Chelstone Catholic Our Heavenly Parish priest Father Joseph Masikili has since asked the parishioners to pray for the family for comfort.
Fr Masikili described the couple as prayerful who were always ready to carry out the work of God.
He said the couple were always ready to help anyone, therefore they will be missed by the church and the community.
And family representative Chrispin Mwakachela thanked the church and Zambians for the good will.
The suspect has since been detained by police.
