President Hakainde Hichilema has urged the people of Northern Province not relent because the great choice they made by voting for the UPND has brought a lot of change which includes employment, peace and unity.
Mr Hichilema said yesterday being the anniversary of the day the people of Zambia made a great choice of liberating themselves from a violent party he was reminded of how the people of Northern provinces made a bold choice to liberate themselves.
He said this upon arrival in Northern Province yesterday in readiness for the Ukusefya Pangwena traditional ceremony.
Mr Hichilema said in just a few months in government the UPND administration has created more than 40 000 jobs in the health and education sector because of the choice people made.
He said unlike the previous regime which only employed 7, 000 teachers in 10 years his government had started on a better note and people should anticipate more of that.
Mr Hichilema said his government has proven his critics wrong because they were telling the people that he was going to divide this nation but on the contrary the has brought unity and peace.
