Kalu jets in for prestigious exhibition match

ZAMBIA’s soccer icon Kalusha Bwalya has reported for camp ahead of the much-anticipated exhibition Match between 2012 AfCON winning legends and Barcelona legends.

And Kalusha has hailed King of Africa and the Ministry of Sport for organizing a game of such a magnitude, saying it will go a long way in marketing Zambia’s sport tourism.

Twenty twelve AfCON winning Chipolopolo Legends take on Barcelona legends in an exhibition match organized by Kings of Africa in partnership with the Ministry of Sport.

The highly anticipated exhibition match will be held on Thursday May 25 at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

Kalusha is expected to coach the Zambian legends but may play a few minutes of the game.

Speaking upon arrival at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka on Sunday evening, Kalusha said the game provides a perfect opportunity to market Zambia’s tourism to the world.

Kalusha says playing in the legends game is about promoting Zambia and that the players are all geared for the match.

The 1988 African Footballer of the year emphasized that he is hopeful that he may be given a few minutes to play in the game.

The Zambian legends are currently in camp with foreign based legends expected to jet into the country today as former National Team Manager Lusekelo Kamwambi coordinates the team.
