ECOBANK Zambia has for the past five years donated over K200, 000 to Zambian marketers with the aim to boost their financial capital as they continue to play a pivotal role in growing the local economy.

EcoBank Managing Director Aina Moore said the local market in Zambia has struggled to grow due to the lack of funding and as such the bank has come on board to help boost their bossiness.
Ms Moore notes that for every developing Country the SMEs have a role to play in ensuring that they contribute to the economic growth through job Creation.
She adds that empowering SME’s is not only life changing for their families but also for Zambia to accelerate development.
Ms Moore adds that the bank is keen on ensuring that the local people are financially empowered so as to help eradicate poverty in the country.
