HH gifts Zambians with Mopani Christmas deal

…as President Hakainde Hichilema assures that the Mopani Copper Mines transaction will be completed before Christmas

AS the country is approaching towards Christmas, President Hakainde Hichilema has promised that the Mopani Copper Mines transaction will be closed before the celebration.

President Hichilema said he is working around the clock to ensure that the transaction is closed.

He said days have become too tight for him this time around as he is working on ensuring that the matter is completed.

Mr Hichilema said this need to be done as it is important to the country’s economy.

Speaking when he held a meeting with a Red Cross delegation yesterday, President Hichilema indicated that he will ensure that the matter is put to bed as planned.

“My days are tight for me this time around. For Zambians we are hoping to close the Mopani transaction before we go on Christmas.

It is very important to our economy,” Mr Hichilema said.
