ERB maintains fuel prices for the third consecutive month

The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has once again maintained the Pump prices of Fuel for the third Month consecutively.

ERB Board Chairperson Reynolds Bowa, in the a statement read on his behalf by board member Director Michael Kachumi said the price of fuel on the international market had generally declined.

He said the decline was as a result of the the weak oil demand arising from uncertainty to the extent and duration of the oil supply cuts from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the Angola’s decision to leave OPEC.

He said the decline in the prices fuel was however negated by the depreciation of the kwacha.

Mr Bowa said petrol continual selling at K29.98, Diesel at k29.96 and Kerosen at k20.44.
