EVER Grow Business Solutions has called for the dissolution of the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) board to allow the entity to serve its purpose of disbursing empowerment loans to small businesses effectively.
The organisation’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr John Mainsa said in an interview that the CEEC had failed in its duties as some members of the board were politically-inclined making the criteria used in the selection of beneficiaries questionable.
Mr. Mainsa said CEEC was an important institution in the development of the Small and Medium Enterprise sector and it was critical that individuals serving on the board had no political inclination and agendas.
