Vedanta to take full control of KCM month-end, says Simujika

VEDANTA Resources is expected to take full control of Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) by the end of this month, National Union for Miners and Allied Workers (NUMAW) has said.

And NUMAW clarified that KCM had sent miners on leave because it had no money to pay them.

NUMAW president, Saul Simujika said the union was aware that the investor will take over come this month end as all the legal process would be completed.
