THE Copper Queens defied the odds to qualify for their second consecutive Olympics Women’s Football Tournament after beating North African giants Morocco 3-2 on aggregate following a 2-0 victory over the Atlas Lionesses in the second leg of the final Olympic qualifier played in the early hours of yesterday.
A brace from captain Barbra Banda at the Prince El Hassan Stadium in Rabat secured the vital win for the Copper Queens who were able to bounce back from the 2-1 home loss a week ago in Ndola. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
