THE Lusaka High Court heard that the 14-year-maid allegedly murdered by a couple of Chalala in Lusaka, would start her day chores as early as 03:00 hours.
Testifying before Judge Vincent Siloka, a 20-year-old General Hospitality student, Joshua Marimo, revealed that between 03:00 hours and 04:00 hours, he would see Janet Mpundu sweeping the front part of the yard, thereafter, turn to doing the laundry.
This is in a matter, Smart Mumba and Chanda Majory Lwembo, are alleged to have murdered Mpundu who was originally from Mansa, on August 28, 2023.
