So sorry Daily Nation!

Editor,

Very sad that these perpetrators of crime can now start targeting our newspaper the Daily Nation which never happened to the defunct Post newspaper, even to their six-page Mast in circulation today despite of their poor in their reporting. Yes, your request to Government for protection cannot come later, it’s better now. On your part, please spend a bit of money now to have the premises secured. Installing extra eyes cannot be a bad idea. I can predict that very soon a very big fatso is about to be nabbed.

Micky, Ndola

Pitiful Zambian soccer

Editor,

I don’t really know what is wrong with our football in Zambia these days. Since winning 2012 AFCON in Gabon, Zambia’s footballing prowess has nosedived. After our team won the cup (2012), a British BBC reporter went into a frenzy exclaiming that now Zambian footballers will break into the bigger clubs in Europe, but the story is still the same. We shall continue to use local players and professionals from South Africa and China.

For Kapenya the observer

Editor,

Zambians did not borrow their national anthem from Tanzania. Both Zambia and Tanzania, because of their strong desire for one Africa adopted Nkosi sikelele Africa, MFUMU SIPALENI AFRICA, except for words which were composed by a South African. Maybe Zambians should have adopted Swahili as their national language there would be no BANTUSTANS FOR LIFE by now in our dear Zambia. God help us.

Dixon Champanza, Lusaka.

Slow down Saviour Chishimba

Editor,

It is shocking to note the way our man in the name of Saviour Chishimba is always at crossroad with reality and indeed the constitution of Zambia. At the last press conference the Republican President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu explained in simple English and not jargons that our constitution does have a clause which allows a formation of government of national unity but a clause on 50 plus 1. The winner takes it all. This goes to show that our man is ever glued to TVs and Radios that blackout progressive news but only insults and negatives on government policies and development projects.

 Change Life Zambia

Early marriages

Editor,

I am concerned with the rate at which girls are getting pregnant and enter into early marriages. It is distressing that these girls stop school while the boys who made them pregnant continue normally with the day to day activities. The only way to make help them is ensuring they acquire some education.

Enemies of Zambia

Editor,

Whoever is behind these barbaric activities countrywide is either an egocentric selfish idiot or just simply paranoid and deserves a firing squad! These buildings and Zesco lines which were vandalized are for the general public and particularly tax payers’ money. These are elements in society who don’t love this country because they have nothing to lose or contribute. Once found, they should just be locked up and the keys thrown into the Zambezi River.

Changes at technical bench is needed

Editor,

I think it’s time we look at the management of our national team. For me, the current one has failed. We cannot be losing every time.

Chola Bwalya, Lusaka

Why do we quickly give land to foreigners

Editor,

It’s tough for a bona fide Zambian to acquire land and title deeds from  because the whole process is frustrating. But when it comes to foreigners, they are given land quickly plus all the necessary documentation. Corruption will drive us into poverty! Let’s detest it.
