PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu and the PF are committed to peaceful and issue based campaigns ahead of August, 12 general elections, PF Manifesto Committee Chairperson Given Lubinda has said.
Mr Lubinda said the PF is committed to ensuring that it tells the people what it has done and want it intends to do once re-elected.
Mr Lubinda said PF have been told to be issue based and avoid all forms character assassination.
“As PF we are committed to ensuring peaceful and issue based campaigns devoid of violence and character assassination,” Mr Lubinda said.
He said it was important for all party members to campaign based on the party manifesto.
Mr Lubinda said unlike other political parties that are engaging in violence, PF will focus on selling its manifesto.
“We have delivered as a party in government and unlike those that are engaging in violence, we are telling the electorates about we have done and we intend to do once re-elected,” Mr Lubinda said.
Mr Lubinda who is also a PF Member of the Central Committee (MCC) is leading a delegation of Manifesto Committee members on a national wide tour to sensitize member of their new manifesto.
