THE US$1.2 million supposedly stolen from a politician linked to the Patriotic Front (PF) was a complete hoax

Precious Namweemba Magande, the self-confessed ex-convict and author of the hoax has unreservedly apologised to Zambians for her, which was intended to promote her film.

Precious is sorry for having caused what she termed as  an unnecessary commotion and  for hurting the feelings of the people she claimed to have stolen the money from.

She says her podcast interview which had gone viral and given extensive coverage for claiming that some unnamed politician was keeping millions of dollars in his house from which she had helped herself with US$1.2 loot was only meant for a stand for numbers on her Facebook as she was in the process of producing a movie.

In her latest Facebook post, Precious says what had been published by some media houses was never what she meant and intended to deliver to the public but was a cast in the movie she is currently shooting.

She has disclosed that whatever she said and did in the podcast interview was strictly meant to attract numbers for the followers and was never meant to hurt the feelings and soil the reputation of those who were linked to the money that was a hoax.

“I am so sorry for all the commotion and the mixed feelings that people got from that podcast interview. It is not what it is. I just did it for numbers. Please forgive me,” said Precious.

The now socialite said she regretted having accused some unknown PF politicians of keeping millions of dollars in their houses and that some media houses had exaggerated because according to her, it was not what was published in the newspapers.

She said she was aware that most Zambians hated her to the gilt for saying things she had in an interview on the Zed Podcast but that whatever she revealed on the material day about her prison journey was only for a stand for the numbers.

“Hello! This is Nam 99, the Inspire Precious. I am sure all of you really hate me to the…for that Zed Podcast interview. Whatever I said on the interview Podcast concerning my prison journey and everything that happened, it was all a stand for numbers. I am a content creator, moreover, I have been working on a movie; ‘My Walk to Freedom,’ and whatever I said, I just wanted to pull numbers for the movie,” Precious said.

She announced that should be sending what she termed a trailer for the movie she was shooting as the 99 Family for Zambians to know and understand why she wanted numbers and attract her audience.

“Just after this, I am going to send a trailer for the movie we are doing as the 99 Family for you know why I wanted the numbers and the audience,” she said.
