Civil servants who are working against the government of the day not only in Zambia but other countries are the ones making those in leadership look bad in the eyes of the people, says Evangelical Youth Alliance president, Reverend, Moses Lungu.

And Rev. Lungu said the civil servants who are working with opposition political parties to unseat the ruling Patriotic Front would have themselves to blame once they are exposed and booted out of the system.

He said in an interview that such civil servants should be booted out because they are a hindrance to national development and have in most cases deliberately failed to deliver as expected due to their wicked motives towards those in leadership.

“These wicked civil servants have deliberately not been able to effectively put in as much as anticipated, and if they think that they would change the course, they are lying to themselves, they will soon be exposed and replaced,” he said.

Rev. Lungu said it was foolish for such civil servants to choose to be disloyal to the government of the day by choosing to work with the opposition whose political future was uncertain.

He said the government has time and again given leeway to civil servants wanting to join politics to resign instead of pretending to be serving the government and at the same time being a political sell-out.
