NO CULPRIT in the sex den scandal that occurred in Lusaka’s Woodlands area will escape the long arm of the law as Government will not tolerate such immorality to continue especially among the youth, Home Affairs minister Stephen Kampyongo has warned.

The minister said youths were the future generation hence any kind of nonsensical behaviour from them would not be entertained.

Mr Kampyongo said that Zambia being a Christian nation, would not condone immorality and that culprits found wanting would be dealt with accordingly.

He reiterated that no identities involved in the scandal would be shielded or protected because his ministry was on top of things and that he, as minister in charge, would ensure that all Zambians remained law abiding.

Mr Kampyongo said, police were still on the ground investigating the sex orgy, hoping that the investigations would be concluded soon and culprits brought to book.

“No one will be left out once the investigations are concluded and I am urging parents and guardians to the children to also monitor their children’s movements and behaviour instead of leaving everything to government such as teachers,” he said

Mr Kampyongo emphasised that culprits would be punished so that others could learn and be deterred from getting involved in illicit activities.

The minister regretted the incident, adding that it was unfortunate for young people to resort to acts that would disturb their studies and endanger their health.

Meanwhile, Police spokesperson Esther Katongo confirmed that the police were still investigating the matter.
