Dear Editor, I WISH to congratulate President Edgar Lungu, the elected President of the Patriotic Front and Republican President on his adoption as the flag carrier for the PF in the August 12, 2021 tripartite elections.
Fellow citizens, especially our friends and family in Petauke Central constituency – the adoption of President Lungu is a plus for us because we have hope in a future and a better society with a solid, humble, God-given leadership like that of President Lungu.
The confidence bestowed by the PF on President Lungu is a demonstration of the trust and hope that the members through the party structures have in President Lungu’s leadership. The adoption also demonstrates how law abiding and democratic, the PF is, in following laid down procedures in line with statutes and principles of the party.
Now that his candidature has been declared, our wait is for the best team to be adopted on Parliamentary, Mayoral and Local Government to maximise the Presidential votes.
We have no doubt that after having a right candidate in President Lungu, with a best team, 2021 is ours once more. EMMANUEL JAY BANDA
