RESIDENTS of Chipangali constituency have hailed the candidature of Patriotic Front (PF) aspiring parliamentary candidate Andrew Lubusha and have vowed to give President Edgar Lungu 100 per cent of votes in the August 12 elections.

Mr James Banda a resident in the area said time had come for youthful leadership to drive the developmental agenda in the constituency.

“As a youth of Chipangali, I fully support Mr Lubusha as the preferred candidate capable of giving President Edgar Chagwa Lungu maximum votes from the constituency,” Mr Banda said.

He said that Mr Lubusha had so far demonstrated effective leadership that was poised to transform Chipangali.

Another resident, Mr Bright Soko, said the residents had accepted the aspiring parliamentary candidate based on the development plans he has put in place for the area.

“Our support for Mr Lubusha is based on the plans he has for this area. I was born and bred here, this place has been abandoned by the previous leadership.

“Mr Lubusha has a heart for the people of Chipangali and with the works we have seen so far from him on the ground, I am proud to say this constituency needs a person like him to completely develop it,” he said.

A senior citizen, Ms Mary Zulu, thanked Mr Lubusha for donations made to Madzi-atuba Health post where he gave out beds, blankets and mattresses.
