BRAZIL TO MARKET ZAMBIA’S TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

Brazil’s Premier Tourismo Club, in partnership with Africa Nova and Mailnews Tourismo have trained about 145 travel agents to market Zambia’s tourism sector in South America.

The Brazilian Travel Agents took part in a virtual seminar organised by the Premier Tourismo Club before they undertake the task of marketing and promoting Zambia’s natural wonders in South America.

Speaking when she opened the seminar, Zambia’s Ambassador to Brazil, Alfreda Kansembe-Mwamba expressed confidence that the training will build capacity among the Travel Agents on Zambia’s tourism sector, a move that will enable them to easily sell Zambia as the best tourist destination in Africa.

Dr. Kansembe-Mwamba said Zambia is the best tourist destination in Africa as it boasts of numerous waterfalls that present a spectacular sight of unmatched beauty and splendor.

And Zambia Tourism Agency, International Tourism Promotion Manager, Angela Chimpinde described the initiative of training Brazilian Travel Agents as a great move of marketing the country’s tourist’ attractions, adding that Zambia is looking forward to welcoming many tourists from Latin America.

Meanwhile, Director of Premier Tourism Club Sergio Jose Maciura, has disclosed that the Travel Agents will soon be accorded an opportunity to visit Zambia and learn of the vast rich tourist attractions the country is endowed with.- ZANIS.
