PATRIOTIC Front Lusaka Province Chairperson, Kennedy Kamba has intensified the door to door campaigns to garner maximum presidential votes and secure the party’s victory.
Mr Kamba said the UPND have no agenda apart from engaging in violence to destabilize the country’s peace and security which has been prevailing under the able leadership of President Edgar Lungu.
He said President Lungu was the best candidate because of his focused and tested leadership.
“How can you not vote for President Lungu who has made roads, hospitals and transformed Zambia,” Mr Kamba asked.
Mr Kamba who successfully conducted the door to door campaigns in Chongwe’s Meanwood, Ndeke and Madido ward under strict adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines also pledged to conduct violence free campaigns as he continues to maximize the votes for PF’s victory.
He was accompanied by PF Chongwe aspiring Candidate Japhen Mwakalombe, PF Lusaka Province Deputy Campaign Coordinator Lawrence Sichalwe and PF Lusaka Province Chairlady Ms Charity Banda.
Meanwhile, Mr Kamba has challenged the police to swing into action and bring to book all the UPND culprits who have continued with their destructive agenda.
“Up to now we have not seen anyone arrested, our offices in Chawama were brought down, people beaten and our bill boards burnt down, while theirs have remained intact. The police should therefore do their job,” Mr Kamba demanded.
And Mr Mwakalombe said victory for President Lungu is guaranteed because development is campaigning for him as opposed to those without any national agenda.
