ALL 10 PROVINCES OF ZAMBIA HAVE PRESIDENT LUNGU’S INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT SIGNATURE FIRMLY PRINTED ON THEM,” CHITOTELA

… You cannot talk about a successful economy without the trade enablers….

Former Minister of Arts and Tourism , Hon. Ronald Kaoma Chitotela says Zambia , under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu is headed for greatness because they have put in place all the trade enablers that will translate into a successful economy .

And Hon. Chitotela has charged that there is no part of Zambia which President Edgar Lungu has left behind, stating that he has footprints of his work firmly printed in each province .

Speaking on the PF Interactive Forum in Lusaka this evening , Hon. Chitotela said the ammount of infrastructure development that Zambia has witnessed under President Lungu is unprecedented .

He said President Lungu is the only sitting President after Dr. Kenneth Kaunda to have built an International airport, the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe airport as well as to have rehabilitated and modernised the Livingstone airport, now called the Harry Mwanga Nkumbula airport.

Chitotela who is also former Minister of Infrastructure and housing said under President Lungu and the PF , the Kazungu bridge which was jointly funded by the people of Zambia and Botwana had been constructed .

He said all this infrastructure was as an enabler of Inter and Intra trade for Zambia .

He said Late President Sata had initiated the Link Zambia 2000, the Pave Zambia project , the L400and the C400 and that between the time President Lungu took over Government and now , the PF had completed a good 6000km out of the 8000km of road which gave them a 75/80% score mark of success .

He said President Lungu had managed to give Lusaka a facelift to the extent that it was now rated among the fasted growing cities in the whole of Africa .

He said under President Lungu , the Project of Toll plazers had been actualized and was a resounding success to the extent that other countries now come to Zambia to learn how to implement such a project.

He said hospitals such as the Maina Soko Military Hospital, The Lusaka Specialist Hospital , the Kalindawalo hospital in Petauke ,the Chinsali hospital and the Levy Mwanawasa Medical University , including Mini Hospitals were among the success stories that President had scored .

He said President Lungu was not only taking development to areas that had voted for him but had seen to the construction of the dundumwezi-Kalomo-Itezi tezi -Namwala road .

Additionally he said the PF and President Lungu had constructed the Chingola Solwezi road ,upgraded the Mansa airport, constructed the Mansa Luwingu road, the Kawambawa Mushota Luwingu road and the kawambwa Mporokoso road.

He said the PF and President Lungu had brought dignity to the men and women in Uniform who now had admirable homes to live in causing many to want to become police officers .

“The People of Zambia should look at all this and say yes ..President Lungu deserves a fresh mandate,” he said .
