PATRIOTIC Front (PF) youths in Southern Province have joined many Zambians in congratulating Presidentelect Hakainde Hichilema on his victory
Provincial youth chairman, Obbie Mweemba, said the youth wing was elated that the UPND had put up a spirited fight and that Zambians have entrusted them with a five-year mandate.
Mr Mweemba sais youths in the province were comforted with the President elect’s pronouncement to root out ‘caderism’ in bus stations and markets The President elect during his first media briefing abolished ‘caderism’ which had become a thorn in the flesh during the PF regime.
He assured the nation that he would not tolerate any one breaking the law regardless of their political inclination. “As youths in the province, we will ensure that our people adhere to this directive which is aimed at having a peaceful nation,” Mr Mweemba said.
On the actualisation of One Zambia One Nation, Mr Mweemba said this was commendable as Zambians would be brought together regardless of their tribe. “We would also want to thank President Lungu for the unprecedented development we received in Southern Province during his tenure of office. He embraced all Zambians particularly in Southern Province.
Mr Walk the Talk will go down in the history books as a man that did not leave anyone behind in developmental matters,” he said.
