MP pays school fees for vulnerable children

KATOMBORA Member of Parliament (MP) Clement Andeleki has given school authorities at Katapazi Primary Schoolin Kazungula district K10,000 to go towards school fees for vulnerable children.

Mr Andeleki gave out the money during his thanksgiving event to the people of Katapazi ward who voted for him and and President Hakainde Hichilema.

He said, as a double orphaned who had challenges in accessing education during his time in school, he felt compelled to share the little with vulnerable and orphaned children.

Mr Andeleki promised the people of Kazungula district that he would always use his salary from parliament to uplift the livelihood of the vulnerable in the district.

The MP noted that his area is one of the poorest constituencies in the country and that poverty and illiteracy levels were alarming.

Mr Andeleki pleaded with the people of Katombora constituency to rally behind the President Hichilema and the UPND government in order for them to see meaningful development.

“I want to encourage you the people of Katombora and Zambia as a whole to join the UPND and support President Hakainde Hichilema. Our President means well for Zambia,” he said

Mr Andeleki has embarked on a tour of his constituency to address people who voted for him and his party and to understand their challenges.
