Muchinga UPND chiefs welcome Sikazwe
On Wednesday, President Hakainde Hichilema swore-in Mr Sikazwe as Deputy Minister for Muchinga alongside other Cabinet and provincial ministers at State House.
THE United Party for National Development (UPND) in Muchinga Province has welcomed the appointment of Senga Hill Member of Parliament Henry Sikazwe as provincial minister.
Provincial coordinator Frederick Chimeya says they were excited with the appointment of Mr. Sikazwe and are waiting to receive him to take up his duties in the province.
The provincial leadership has also congratulated all the newly appointed cabinet and provincial ministers.

Meanwhile, the UPND leadership has also welcomed Mr Sikazwe’s call for unity of purpose for the region to attain meaningful development.
Mr. Chimeya said the time for politicking is gone and now it is time to work and everyone has to participate regardless of one’s belief or political affiliation.
And Mr. Sikazwe says there is need for love and team work from everyone in the province if the area has to see meaningful development.
In a telephone interview in Chinsali, Mr. Sikazwe said as time for politicking is gone, it is time to work and better the lives of the people.
He said everyone should come on board to offer solutions that will contribute to the economic development of the province and ultimately the country as a whole.
He said now is the time to deliver and implement policies that will make Zambia a better country again hence the need for everyone to come on board.
Mr. Sikazwe has also appealed to civil servants to work diligently and always remain professional as they execute their duties.
He said Government depends on the civil servants to implement its policies and programmes to the best of their abilities. – ZANIS.
