SIX PF CADRES DOCKED OVER VIOLENCE

SEVERAL Patriotic Front (PF) supporters charged with various violent crime have appeared in the Kasama Magistrates’ Court for plea.

Abraham Simukoko 27 and Enerst Chings 39, popularly known as Team America, have been charged with assault on Albert Mbewe, which is alleged to have occurred August 4, this year.

The court has granted a K500 bail in their own recognizance with two working sureties who should pay the same amount an event that the accused default to appear for trial on October 5, this year.

Another PF cadres, Wiseman Lukwesa 35, of Mumba Compound in Kasama, appeared for assault on Bright Mweemba.

Lukwesa is also alleged to have used insulting language against UPND member Elizabeth Goma on September 18, this year.

The court has granted him a K10,000 cash bail after pleading not guilty to the charge and he will appear on October 6, this year for trial.

Meanwhile, three other PF supporters charged with arson namely Ernest Chewe 36, Okey Chisha 30 and Evance Nkole 22 pleaded not guilty.

They were alleged to have setting ablaze a vehicle and pleaded not guilty of the charge.

On August 5, this year in Kasama, the trio allegedly set fire on a Toyota Vox registration no ALG 7349 valued at K95,715, belonging to David Musonda.

They all appeared before Magistrate Joe Samboko for plea.

The court has granted them a K10,000 cash bail each and will appear before the court on October 5 for commencement of trial.
