25 GUINEA PLAYERS HOSPITALIZED
Morocco’s qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup are clearly not going as planned.
The Guinea Bissau Football Federation has confirmed that individuals from the technical bench and 25 players from the national team squad have suffered diarrhea and vomiting last night after their dinner and were sent to the hospital for intensive care.
In fact, in a post shared on Facebook, the Federation of Guinea-Bisseau published images of its players in the hospital in the Moroccan capital where the meeting should be played.
“Something strange happened yesterday with the players and elements of the technical team of the Guinea-Bissau national football team who, after dinner, were all vomiting and showing signs of diarrhea, therefore were rushed to hospital. Guinea-Bissau has a match scheduled for today with the Moroccans, and it is not known if the match will take place or not.”
For the time being, no official announcement has yet been made as to the progress of the match, which still seems to be maintained, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah complex, this Wednesday, October 06, on the sidelines of the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
