The Zambia National Soccer Team’s World Cup qualifier against Equatorial Guinea which is slated for tomorrow has been dealt another setback as Sweden based duo Emmanuel Banda and Edward Chilufya have been ruled out.
This barely comes 24 hours after Evans Kangwa and Enock Mwepu were also ruled out of the game due to injury.
According to Millennium Radio sources , the Sweden based players Chilufya and Banda were scheduled to connect from Stockholm to join camp in Cameroon but were instead denied access to board the plane due to visa complications .
This means the duo will miss tomorrow’s game but maybe available for the reverse fixture to be played at home on Sunday .
The development means that four players from the 23- member squad that was initially called up to camp by coach Beston Chambeshi will be unavailable.
And when contacted for comment, FAZ communication Manager Sydney says the Association would issue a statement in the next hour regarding the matter as they were still concluding on the training session .
