TWO WOMEN SWINDLE JOB SEEKERS

TWO women have been charged for allegedly obtaining money by false pretences from two men by falsely pretending that they were going to secure recruitment for them in the Zambia Police Service when in fact not.
The accused persons are Queen Mulwe, 39, unemployed, of Jack Compound, and Maureen Nankamba, also 39, of SOS area both in Lusaka.
They have been charged with obtaining money by false pretences contrary to Section 309 of penal code
In the first count particulars of offence are that on unknown dates in Lusaka, Mulwe and Nankamba jointly and whilst acting together obtained K10, 900 from Rueben Mwale by falsely pretending that they were going to secure for him recruitment in the Zambia Police Service when in fact not.
In count two the particulars are that on unknown dates but between September 1 and 30, 2021 Mulwe and Nankamba in Lusaka jointly and whilst acting together allegedly obtained K10,000 from Kelvin Sikazwe by falsely pretending that they going to secure for him recruitment in the Zambia Police Service when in fact not.
The accused persons were yesterday scheduled to have their case allocated by Lusaka Chief Resident Magistrate Dominic Makalichi.
