I HARBOR no intentions to be PF party President when President Edgar Lungu steps down, PF Member of the Central Committee Stephen Kampyongo has said.
Mr Kampyongo who is Shiwan’gandu Constituency MP said he was content with his positions thus far.
He said being a PF MCC and MP were enough for him.
Mr Kampyongo said this when he addressed hundreds of Mutitima Residents in Nkulungwe Village in Shiwan’gandu yesterday.
“I am grateful to you for the faith you have continued to show in me to represent you in Parliament and I will never take this privilege for granted, I shall work for you as I have always done from the first time you elected me in 2011,” he said.
Mr Kampyongo said as a PF MP and MCC, he would play his part in ensuring that the party choses a sound minded and credible leader to take over as President of PF from Mr Lungu .
