Do not harass civil servants regardless when aggrieved but follow the right procedure United Party for National Development (UPND) National Youth Chairman Gilbert Liswaniso has warned party members.
Mr Liswaniso said the party would not shield anyone that took the law in their own hands after a video went viral on social media of alleged party supporters harassing some civil servants on the pretext of belonging to the opposition PF.
Mr Liswaniso said this when he paid a courtesy call on Mwandi District Commissioner Sikuka Mwitumwa Kabika at her office charged that the tendency by the Youths needed to come to an end.
“Anyone found harassing civil Servants will face the wrath of the law and that will not get the party’s protection,” he said.
He added that those with grievances needed to instead visit and report to the office of the District Commissioners unlike just harassing civil Servants with impunity.
And Mwandi District Commissioner Ms Kabika bemoaned the incomplete District administration offices.
Ms Kabika charged that it had become difficult for the civil servants to administer their work in the current state of affairs.
