MTN/FAZ Super League defending champions Zesco United will play for revenge when they host Kafue Celtics in today’s clash at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

And Zesco United acting General Manager Milupi Libi has urged players to maintain their recent winning trajectory after enjoying victories over Indeni, Chambishi and Kabwe Warriors in the last three games.

Zesco, who were shocked 2-0 by the Crocs the last time the two sides faced off in Lusaka are second on the Super League table with 37 points, five points behind the league leaders Red Arrows.

“We are all delighted and encouraged by the recent performance from the team. This is a good sign that we are heading in the right direction. Our job is to keep encouraging them so that this momentum can be maintained,”

Libi said.

Zesco will look to strikers Pedro Miguel who scored in the 1-0 victory over Kabwe Warriors and John Chingandu who was on target in the last two fixtures which Zesco United won 1-0 respectively.

Kafue Celtics will look to their lethal striker Albert Kangwanda who is second on the top scorers’ chart with nine goals, to recover from a winless run after picking four draws and three defeats in the last seven matches.

Meanwhile, struggling Lusaka Dynamos will seek redemption from three consecutive defeats when they host Forest Rangers who are also winless in the last six league games.

Dynamos, who lost a number of key players during the January transfer window are bottom on the Super League with 16 points from two wins, 10 draws and nine defeats.

Power Dynamos will fight to bounce back to winning ways when they host Buildcon FC at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe after picking three consecutive goalless draws.

At Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka, league leaders Red Arrows will host Konkola Blades with a target of picking maximum three points to protect their five points lead at the summit of the league table.

In other fixtures, Nkana FC are visiting Chambishi FC while Indeni will play hosts to Kansanshi Dynamos led by new coach Boyd Mulwanda whose target is to start his reign as Kansanshi Dynamos head coach with a win.
