My life is in danger – Munir

By Nation Reporter

My life is in danger because I shared privileged information with the vice president Mrs. Mutale Nalumango and she went and shared the privileged information to another person, Lemizi member of Parliament, Munir Zulu, has charged.

Mr Zulu said he was being threatened by some businessmen  who were saying that they were going to crush him and these were the same business men that supported the previous regime.

He said when he featured on a televised program on Diamond TV that he raised the information in parliament and presented the person who sold him out, who was the vice president.

Mr Zulu claimed that  Mrs. Nalumango  gave powers to a certain character to tell other businessmen to starting saying that they would crush him. He also complained that he no longer has privileges in parliament because the Speaker of the national assembly had taken a position of hatred against him.

“Am convinced the Speaker hates me. There is nothing I can do to please her,” he said.

He said he was even sharing with his friends whether or not it was necessary for him to be on in parliament.

Mr Zulu said the Speaker once issued a strong warning against him that he should not blame her if she does not allow him to debate.

“She warned me on the floor of the house,” he said.

He said he even made efforts to go to her office so that he talk to her but an excuse was created that she was on a virtual meeting when he knew that the excuse was made up simply because she wanted to excuse herself from talking to him. Mr Zulu said the Speaker had been allowing some people to chair sensitive committees, and the men were collecting K1 million and different amounts of money from businessmen.
